More about Isak...
Isak was born on April 10, 1993. He is the grand-child of two prominent Australian imports; top producing S Ch Marsabit Melikora and Best in Specialty-winner S Ch Marsabit M'Danzi. Isak's pedigree consists of top Australian and English lines.
Isak has proven himself in the showring. He is also a good obediance dog (has acquaried one 1st price from obediance class I) and an excellent tracking dog. He has passed the blood tracking aptitude test. Isak has been approved at an official mentality test and has a truly delightful personality. Naturally Isak has been x-rayed for hip dysplasia and elbow arthrosis and has been found clinically free of both disorders. He has a complete and correct bite. Isak's primary accomplishment would, however, have to be the outstanding progeny that he consistently produces. In this aspect we believe he is truly an asset to the breed. Isak has competed with his progeny in sire and progeny classes with great success. Progeny from many different combinations have participated in these groups and thanks to their uniformity in type, sound conformation and the great patience of their owners, who have waited with me for the finals on many occations, Isak's progeny groups have had Best in Show wins and placements including three time Best progeny group in show at Specialty level (BIS at the National Specialties 1998 and 1999!). Already in the puppy classes Isak-babies tend to make their mark in the show ring. More than 20 of Isak's kids have had in group and in show placements from puppy class. In 1998, Isak pups in Australia alone won no less than 25 age in group and 4 age in show wins, including Best puppy in show at all breed as well as Specialty level and in Sweden, Finland and Italy, Isak-sons were also awarded Best puppy in show at Specialty and all breed shows. Isak is to date the sire of no less than 20 champions and has been awarded the Swedish RR Club CV-title; the equivalency to Register of Merits, ROM. Isak also has another 8 CC-winners to his name and we are hoping that his count of champions will increase as these finish their titles. We are very pleased to share the success of Isak's progeny world wide and wish to thank the prominent breeders who have recognized Isak's great potential as a producer and have allowed him to be a part of their breeding programs, giving us top quality grand-kids to enjoy and be proud of. With progeny in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Italy, Australia and Canada, we believe Isak is Scandinavia's most international sire! Since 2000, Isak has been living together with Savanah with Veronica's ex partner Jonas. We get to meet him on a regular basis and are happy to report that in his 12th year, Isak is a handsome and happy as ever.
